Joseph Legget, CEO
Mr. Joseph T. Leggett serves as the CEO and superintendent of Falcon Children’s Home & Family Services. He accepted this position on October 14, 2007. Over the past 12 years, Falcon Children’s Home and Family Services has continued to improve, strengthen and expand upon the services offered to children and young adults. In addition to the Residential Care of Falcon Children’s Home the following programs have been initiated and improved upon; Transitional Living Program, The Mothers and Babies Program, on campus Health Care Services as well as On-Campus Counseling Services and the opening of a private Christian school on the campus. The Whitfield Life Campus has been constructed and opened across the street from the campus of Falcon Children’s Home.
Prior to coming to Falcon Children’s Home Mr. Leggett served as the administrator of two Nursing Homes overseeing the general operation of the facilities as well as making sure the facilities maintained the required State and Federal Guidelines.
Mr. Leggett received an Associative of Arts Degrees from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and a minor in Religion from Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and successfully completed Nursing Home Administration requirements and coursework to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Preceptor from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Throughout the past 18 years, Mr. Leggett has served in various organizations within the community. He presently serves on the board of trustees for Emmanuel College and is a member of the NC Health Care Facilities Association, and is a member of Benchmarks which is a child governing association of North Carolina.
Mr. Leggett is married to his wife, Sharon Leggett, for over 20 years. They have three sons; Cameron, Trevor and Drew.
